FAQs

How much does a t-shirt or hoodie cost?

There are many factors that go into determining the cost of your garment.

-What kind of garment is it – hoodie, sweatshirt, t-shirt, joggers, or something else altogether.
-What quality of garment is it? Are you looking for something budget friendly, something from a specific brand, unisex or womens fit, extra soft, or performance material?
-What does your design look like? Is it a one-color print? Two- or three-color print? Full color print? The more colors there are, the more it will cost.
-Where is your logo being printed? Is it just large on the front, or is it small on the front and large on the back? Do you want it printed on the sleeve? Each additional print location will increase the cost.
-How many will you be ordering? The more you order, the cheaper they become.

The easiest way to determine how much your garment will cost, is to send an email to requests@aimiescreations.com. Put ‘Quote Requested’ in the subject field and include all 5 of the above categories of information. We will reach out to you within 3 business days. If your quote is urgent – please add that to the subject line and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Do I need to provide the t-shirts?

No. All of the prices we quote include the garment. We actually do not print on garments that we have not provided. The only exception being school groups that we have negotiated decoration deals with.

Do I need to bring my own design or can you help with that?

Either one! I love it when clients have their own designs already. I need them in a .ai, .eps, or .svg format in order to print them accurately. I can convert them if needed, but that may incur an extra fee depending on the amount of time the conversion takes.

I also love helping clients come up with a new design! You can always send me pictures of what your inspiration pieces are, or if there is a style you like, and we can make one that is all yours!

What is your turnaround time?

Average turnaround time is 2 weeks. There are some exceptions. During peak seasons, we may take longer than that, and in certain cases we can rush orders. Any rush orders will incur a rush fee.

What colors are available?

We have access to many different wholesalers. This gives us the opportunity to get you exactly what you are looking for. There might not be all colors in your specific request, but we can find something in just about every color under the sun. If we can’t find the garment color you are looking for, we can always do the design in that color instead. 😊

What items do you offer?

We have figured out how to offer almost any product you can want customized! Not only do we do clothing (jackets, tshirts, sweatshirts, joggers, warmups, tank tops, etc), we also offer stickers, bags, backpacks, laser engraved water bottles, luggage tags, enamel pins, medals, dog tags, and so much more!

Do you screen print?

This is actually a complicated question. The simple response is yes, we can screen print. The longer answer is, we will not screen print everything. Garment decoration is a rapidly evolving industry and there are several amazing techniques out there that will provide a beautiful and long-lasting design. Some will work better than others. Our goal is to always give you the best option for your project and your design.

Some of the printing options include: Screen Print, Heat Transfer Vinyl, Direct to Film, Sublimation, and embroidery.

I don’t want vinyl. Can you do something else?

Vinyl has a bad rap, that is widely undeserved. Many clients come in showing me a shirt that they got from ‘a friend’ or ‘someone in the neighborhood’ or even from Etsy, where the vinyl is cracked and peeling, or falling off the shirt. They want a shirt with the same design, but not in vinyl. I’m sure we have all seen this or know someone that has had this happened.  Here’s the thing – 9 times out of 10 it is not the vinyl that is causing these problems. These happen when there was an issue with the way the vinyl was applied.

We do not use vinyl that you can buy at the local craft store. The vinyl we purchase is professional use heat transfer vinyl (HTV). It is has a longer life, more stretch, and many more colors than craft store HTV. We also have two large professional heat presses that we use to apply the HTV to all of our garments.  These two things mean that anything that we press with HTV will be around for a long time.

Things to know about HTV:
-Most HTV is rated for 50 washes. That means that it will last at least that long. Some will last longer.
-Fabric softener is not your friend when washing shirts with HTV. It can affect the adhesive on the vinyl and shorten the life of the design.
-High heat is also a no-no with vinyl. High heat is really not good for any garments, but it can melt the adhesive on the vinyl and reduce the life of the design.
-Vinyl is going to be your cheapest option for a one or two color design on less than 10 garments. A screen print for one garment will cost you $100.
-If you still don’t want vinyl, lets talk. I’m sure we can come up with something else that isn’t vinyl and won’t cost as much as a screen print.

Do you offer group discounts?

Yes! Most of our business is done with school groups, youth groups and church groups. We know that you are on a budget and will do our best to provide you with the best prices possible.

Washing and Care instructions

Machine wash. It is not necessary to turn the garment inside out. If you have a glitter design, do NOT turn it inside out to wash.

Tumble dry low, or hang dry.

Do you have a minimum quantity to order?

No. We can make 1 shirt or 1000 shirts. The quantity you buy will affect the price, but we can definitely make you a custom one of a kind shirt or sweatshirt at a great price.
